Cold air dancing on my skin
I breath in to know I am still here
The loss of touch has given way to deep dark despair
Pain vibrates down my spin as I sit and write today
Nothing takes away the darkness inside
Stars seen as night opens up without the city lights dimming my sight
Coffins line the street as we sit down to eat
Festivals of hope but no one has any left
We dance in the mud laughing just because
Tingling over my body is felt as I lay here and weep
She tells me I love you, words are cheap
Cold air dancing on my skin
