Nothing

Spark of life once so hot and translucent Eco's from a far distance rumbling around A familiar voice a time long gone Lost loves, lives, friendships and self A flicker here and there but no more Standing up and standing strong The spark of life burning hot again Knowing love is first Sunrise is strong with the first breath of day Eco's from a far distance rumbling around A familiar voice a time long gone Knowing love was first

Shift change

Blue tipped birds fly over head Green colored frogs croak the afternoon song Hummingbirds flutter back and forth Birds chirp in unison The afternoon sun dropping down behind the trees The sounds of good nights from creatures all around The quiet returns for a moment between the shift change Then critters of night begin to come Seeking food, warmth, comfort of sorts Odd little creatures creeping all around Night settles down and sleep drops into our bodies

Another story 2

Her lips touched his cheek as he turned slowly towards her. They embraced slowly, gently, then deeply. He felt himself rising inside. A sea of torment and rain. Then sunshine and warmth. Rushing to his head, he felt strong. Filled with desire they tumbled to the floor.  He let out a laugh,  as she giggled. For a moment she were a child again. And for a moment they both were. Children playing on the play ground. Endless days of fun and exploration.  Two cast a ways, on a deserted island.  Dreams of sunsets and clear blue sky. With an ocean, as clear as your eye can see and just as far. This was not the playground. He glanced at her. She responded with her own look of love.  Know two people will know the love they shared. Their hands touched gently. They smile at each other.  Today was a good day to play.

Sand box

Sand box play time is over Shearing past the little boy she spits A hard slap to the face and head before the morning meal Tears are never accepted Gross statements tossed around like rocks on the ground Truth is hard to find when anger complies the lies Witch hunt begun the ending is near Sand box playtime is gone forever

Ugly inside

Lifting the veil of nastiness that surrounds your being Touching the spark of true evil that lives in your heart Forcing out the evil veil you use as your cloak and dagger Igniting the energy around you to explode Foster the evil in your heart Keep it close to you as a support For all the doors they put around you will never contain your ugly Live on with that ugly, until death has taken your last breath The legacy left behind, broken dreams, broken friendships You broke your family, before you broke others Your pride and ego will take you down No one is a God here - falseness and lies lead to betrayal

New Earth 2025

The crack was loud. A man chopping wood. One three inch thick piece became a projectile. The crack was his nose. Dillon reacted by twisting and leaping back trying to avoid serious injury. The one piece hit him hard. He could feel it landing on his lower lip and nose. Dillon felt it hit his face. He was unsure of the damage. Reaction time over. He leaned forward from the pain and confusion. He had been punched by bigger men. He had fought in school with other boys. How could this one piece of wood shatter him. He reached up to his face careful not too touch his skin. Blood dripped onto his palm. One drop wasn't bad, he thought. Then came more drops. He began sweating, he kept saying over and over. "I'm all right, I'm all right. Dam, that guy who works with wood does this? Screw that, what a freaking hard job he does. I'm all right, I will be all right." He knew if he needed to he could suture anything. Of course without any pain killers he knew that...

Whispers in the dark

Whispers in the dark Voices claiming to be friend are not Whispers in the dark Maddening words spewed from ugly mouths Whispers in the dark Hurtful nasty human behavior Whispers in the dark Uncontrollable unstoppable forces of evil rising Whispers in the dark surrounding us Where to go to be comfortable again Whispers in the dark taking a toll

Partial story

Water dripping somewhere in this old home. I know now why they told us never by a place by the sea. The bird shit is growing higher by the day. And so is the shit at work we create every time we pass in the hallways. She laughs at him and points her finger, as if they were in grade school again. My Uncles wife sits weeping in the corner begging to go home. And still she clings to some hope they will find a cure for her cancer. Bert sat next to Thomas at the dinner table, what a crock. Both men have been sucking each other for years. The family wasn't suppose to know. But as luck would have it. Bert's wife rounded the corner across from the park on her bike. She saw the two of them engaged in a tongue bath. So horrified, she had to continue watching? Shelia told herself when Thomas took her husbands pants down. I won't look, I can't look, she looked and looked longer. Then came the puke, then more tears. Then more puke. Ashamed, she only confided in Stacy. Our lov...
