Lay here now quietly
Don't move an inch just lay here
We watch the waves from the balcony
We drink the wine and taste the grapes
Her hands tremble as she touches me
My hands tremble as I touch her
We meet somewhere in the middle
We are fear and excitement wrapped together
It's the wrapping that comes off after the years
Lay here quietly now she demands
I can't stop laughing at her request
And we lay there watching the waves from the balcony
We are quietly together tonight
