The long grass blade waves as we drive by
The trees bend as the winds pass though and around them
Witness an environmental dance
Turning leaves, turning lives, turning us over and over
Leaving memories, we may or may not have to hold
Pictures stuck upon the walls; who are all these people, why don't I recall
Minds drifting torn on down
Bleakest of times ahead, should of thought it through a bit more
No money, no home, no body gives a dam, did it to yourself; is said now
Acceptance was the answer; is it time to fight?
We drove past the long hills, pointed skylines, and etched out concrete jungles
Passing time like stroking myself to long and hoping for more
Nectar's dripping, better run to the kitchen, she loves to cook now
